$1000 Scholarships For Smart Women Pursuing Science Majors
The Dr.Vickli L. Schechtman Scholarship award $1000 to an undergraduate women pursuing scientific studies. Preference is given to applicants pursuing reserach. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a US citizen.
Graduate opportunities include four awards: Amy Lutz Rechel Award for plant biology students; Luise Meyer-Schutzmeister Award for women students in physics; Ruth Satter Memorial Award for women who have had to interrupt their education for 3 or more years in order to raise a family; The Diane H Russel Award for graduate students in the biochemistry of pharmacology fields. Additionally, there are approximately 10 Citations of Merit given each year ranging from $250-$500.
