The Clare Boothe Luce Program is intended "to encourage women to enter, study, graduate, and teach" in fields where there have been many obstacles to their advancement. These fields include physics, chemistry, biology, meteorology, engineering, computer science, and mathematics.
Undergraduate scholarships are generally awarded for two years to a highly qualified female and solely based on merit. Graduate fellowships are awarded to highly qualified women who are doctoral candidates.
